Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Iceland's Reykjavik. She is a CrossFit pro athlete. She also trains and coaches in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is co-owner. Annie is the only female ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. She won the CrossFit Games in 2010 and finished second. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter, athlete and media-star. She has gained fame for being the only woman ever to win twice at CrossFit Games: in 2011 as well as 2012. In 2013 and 2017 she was the winner of her first Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie, along with both her parents and siblings was birthed to Reykjavik Iceland. She enjoyed playing sports and worked out from the age of five. The first time she competed was in CrossFit in California in 2009. Her performance was good at her very first games. Annie Thorisdottir is, as of 2021, is 31 years old. Her height stands at 5'7" and her weight is approximately about 67kg. Annie began her CrossFit experience in California in the year 2009. In the initial games she performed very well and placed in top 10 among 70. She did not take home an award and ended the tournament in 11th place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The same year, under Jami's guidance, she took home the gold medal at the CrossFit Games. Following a long period full of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant performance was enough to earn her the title. In 2012 Annie was again the winner of the CrossFit Games because of her outstanding performance. In addition, she became the first woman athlete to win the two CrossFit Games consecutively. In addition, in 2014 she took home a silver award as well as in 2021, she was awarded bronze in CrossFit Games. Annie has been coaching and training at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was started by Annie. Annie's rise in popularity as an athlete has seen her become the model for a variety of brands in sports, like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb. The self-titled Youtube page boasts over 1,000 subscribers, where she posts her family and travel videos as well as training diets.
