Felicity Jones is a native of Britain and is best known as the actress who appeared as Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones has been acting since when she was 12 years old and has worked in multiple movies and television shows. Jones started her career as an actor with the TV movie The Treasure Seekers. In the following year she made an appearance on The Worst Witch as Ethel Hallow and Weirdsisters College. She played Young Ruth as her debut film Flashbacks of a Fool. Then, she appeared in various films. Her acting gained her fame through films like The Invisible Woman, and The Amazing Spider-Man. Her role in The Theory of Everything earned her an Oscar nomination for her first. The biopic is based on the biography of the physicist Stephen Hawking, and Jones was highly praised by the public and reviewers for her superb performance as Hawking's wife. She was then seen in Inferno an action film starring Tom Hanks. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles gave Jones the British Artist of the Year in 2016 due to her extraordinary talents and contributions to the cinema.
